A total of 256 schools — 68 conference champions and 188 at-large entries — will qualify for the IHSA football playoffs. This list shows schools that have clinched a conference championship, schools that have clinched an at-large entry by winning at least 6 games, and schools that are still eligible for a playoff berth. The total number of games won by a team's opponents is used to break ties in determining playoff berths and seeding the playoffs.
