The 2019 IHSA Football State Championship games will air live on statewide television via Quincy Media Inc.’s IHSA TV Network on Friday and Saturday November 29-30.
The eight state title games will be contested at Huskie Stadium on the campus of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Fans on the go can also watch the games via their mobile devices on the NFHS Network at
www.IHSA.tv.
“We are excited for Quincy Media Inc. to bring our championship games to fans around the state,” said IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson. “Nothing beats the state championship experience, but those who cannot join us in-person at Destination DeKalb are going to enjoy a first-class broadcast experience.”
The telecasts are brought to fans in part by
COUNTRY Financial, the presenting sponsor of IHSA broadcasts.

“Quincy Media is proud to produce the 2019 IHSA football championships on the IHSA Television Network,” said Quincy Media Regional Vice President Jim McKernan. “The partnership between the IHSA, the NFHS Network, and Quincy Media offers additional television coverage to the championships and will allow statewide viewership of the event.”
While 2019 marks the first year of Quincy Media Inc. carrying the state title games, many familiar voices will return on the broadcasts. IHSA TV veterans Lee Hall (1A/2A/5A/6A) and Dave Bernhard (3A/4A/7A/8A) will handle the play-by-play call for all eight contests. Hall will be joined by IHSFCA Hall of Famer Jack McInerney in the analyst role, while Bernhard will team with the radio voice of NIU football, Mark Lindo. Fresh off his IHSA TV debut on the Playoff Pairing Show, WGEM (Quincy) Sports Director Tony Cornish will set the stage for each game as the show’s host. Once the games kickoff, 13 WREX Sports anchors Derek Bayne (Friday) and Dan Cohen (Saturday) will step in to bring fans stories and updates from the Huskie Stadium sidelines.
