Historic Horton Field House on the Illinois State University (ISU) campus in Normal will transform into an exciting new fan experience when the 2023 IHSA Football State Finals descend upon on the ISU campus in Bloomington-Normal on Friday and Saturday, November 24-25.

The Welcome Zone at Horton Field House, is being provided by the Bloomington-Normal Convention and Visitors Bureau along with Illinois State University. This free event allows families and fans of the players to celebrate together and tailgate for up to two hours before their team hits the field.

Horton Field House is attached to the west bleachers of Hancock Stadium, making The Welcome Zone just a few short steps from the Hancock turf that will host the eight state championship games.

All fans are encouraged to visit The Welcome Zone for the ultimate tailgating experience, while each competing team in the title games will have a special area designated for their fans within The Welcome Zone as well. See the map below to see Horton Field House in location to Hancock Stadium.
