The
NFHS Network, the nation’s leading high school sports media company, is hosting its third annual NFHS Network Awards on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, as it recognizes and honors some of the top high school broadcasters and broadcasts in the nation.
The Awards show will air live at 1:00 PM on the
NFHS Network (
click here to watch) and will be available on demand immediately following the program.
Illinois will be represented with nominees in two award categories, as
Sterling High School is a finalist for the Best Highlight, and
Andrew High School's Jon Zaghloul is up for the Best Broadcaster honor.
Zaghloul was profiled on IHSA State (
click here to read) earlier this school year, as he is not only an accomplished broadcaster, but also has a podcast that has attracted nationally renowned guests.
