2000 Sandburg High School alum Sarah Kustok, who was a standout for the Eagles in volleyball and basketball, will be a part of broadcasting history when the 2017-18 NBA season tips off.

Kustok will serve as the YES Network’s analyst for New Jersey Nets broadcasts, making her the third female to serve in this capacity in the NBA and first for the Nets. She has been with the YES Network as the Nets sideline reporter since 2012.

Kustok, who played collegiate basketball at DePaul University in Chicago, appeared as a host and sideline reporter on IHSA Football and Basketball State Final broadcasts from 2006 to 2008, before joining the staff at NBC Sports Chicago (then CSN Chicago).
