Following Rolling Meadows’ state semifinal victory over Geneva, Mustang senior guard Alexis Glasgow, who is committed to continue her basketball career at Northwestern University, closed the press conference with an eloquent statement on the bond her team will share in the future over their accomplishments in high school.

 

Alexis Glasgow:

"Obviously this is our main goal (playing for a state championship), but I really think that we just want to do it for each other. Because this group has been together for so long and to have a positive memory as we move on to different paths in our lives, I just think it’s really important that we have something that can always keep us together."
