The photo (below) of Champaign Central High School basketball player Walker Stillman, taken by local photographer Liz Brunson, has gone viral.
Stillman leapt for a potential rebound during Friday’s (February 19, 2016) game against Danville High School, but gave up on the ball when it careened in the other direction.
Brunson caught the inconsequential leap at just the right moment, as Stillman appeared to be “floating” or “levitating” as many have pointed out on social media.

Champaign News Gazette, which includes video of the play, as some on social media questioned whether it had been doctored on Photoshop.
Stillman went on to have a very consequential play in the game, draining a three-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime.
