Orr Basketball Documentary To Debut In February, 2018

A documentary film chronicling the Orr High School basketball team entitled “Shot In The Dark” will debut on FOX in February, 2018. Film crews for the movie were on-hand when the Spartans won the IHSA Class 2A Boys Basketball State Championship in Peoria in March, 2017.

The film is produced by Chicago natives Dwyane Wade and Chance the Rapper. It marks the second high-profile documentary on an IHSA athletic team, as the East St. Louis football film 89 Blocks debuted on FOX in November, 2017.
