Tammy Deter’s decorated coaching career as the softball coach at Morrison came to a conclusion after the Fillies won the Class 2A third-place game at the 2017 IHSA State Finals.

Deter announced her retirement following a career that included 518 victories, five state final appearances, and the Class 2A state title in 2011.
