Mascoutah’s Fletcher Hopkins To Become Four-Time IHSA Bowling State Champion

In 2013, West Central High School’s Zack Bundy and Mascoutah High School’s Fletcher Hopkins made history when they became the first two student-athletes to compete in the IHSA Athletes with Disabilities division of the IHSA Boys Bowling State Finals.

Fletcher rallied that day to best his friend, earning the state crown after bowling a two-game total of 252 (112-140). Fletcher repeated as state champ in 2014 with a score of 274 (115-159), and again in 2015 when the tourney expanded to four games and he rolled a 558 (159-122-134-143)

As the lone competitor in his division in 2016, Fletcher is already guaranteed to be a four-time state champ, regardless of his score.
