The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) is excited to announce that the “IHSA Rivalry Series presented by Planet Fitness” will return during the 2023-24 school year.

“Illinois is home to some of the oldest and most decorated high school rivalries in the country and we appreciate Planet Fitness recognizing these points of pride within our school communities,” said IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson.

The partnership will kickoff with six marquee matchups on the gridiron this fall:

Prospect HS at Hersey HS

Kaneland HS at Sycamore HS

Friday, October 13
Marion HS at Carbondale HS

Friday, October 20

A year ago, Planet Fitness franchisee PLNTF Holdings heightened the excitement around several historic IHSA rivalries in football and basketball by shining a statewide spotlight on these schools and communities. In addition, Planet Fitness engaged with fans at a number of IHSA State Final events.
