Decatur native Marv Dampeer is a 30+ year IHSA official in basketball and football, whose crew was selected to the work the IHSA Class 1A Football State Championship game in 2014. Marv’s career and impact on the Decatur area were recently chronicled in a story in the Decatur Herald & Tribune.
