The Illinois High School Association’s
March Madness Experience is a fun-fueled interactive family basketball fest held in the exhibit halls of the Peoria Civic Center adjacent to Carver Arena, which is the home of
America’s Original March Madness, the IHSA Boys Basketball State Final tournaments (March 10-12, March 17-19, 2016).
Often imitated, but never duplicated, the
March Madness Experience is the blueprint that many collegiate and professional teams have followed when developing fan fests in conjunction with their events and tournaments. Free with a game ticket or just $2 for entry, the
March Madness Experience welcomes news games and features every season, but the 2014 video below from the
Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau features several of most popular annual events, including the IHSA’s
Wheelchair Basketball State Championship tournament, the World’s Biggest Hoop, and the CEFCU Rainbow Shootout among others. Be sure to check out these games and more at the Peoria Civic Center from March 10-12, 2016 and March 17-19, 2016.
