The boys and girls soccer teams from Washington High School in Chicago got in the holiday spirit, as student-athletes gave back to their community.
On December 18, 2016, about 15 team members from Washington High School visited Perlman Senior Center in Evanston, where they surprised more than 50 senior citizens. The group handed out donuts, bagels, pizza and other breakfast and lunch treats. They spent over three hours at the Perlman Senior Center, as they ate, talked and played games with the residents.
This gathering was a part of the Making A Difference On AND Off The Field campaign presented by Buddy’s HELPERS and the PepsiCo Showdown.
