Laurence Holmes has been Chicago sports media mainstay in a variety of mediums for over two decades, including currently hosting a nightly show on WSCR’s The Score (670 AM) and Chicago Bears pre- and post-game shows on NBC Sports Chicago.

The Homewood-Flossmoor grad, who called the IHSA Class 5A & 6A Football State title games in 2016, recently used his WSCR airwaves to help facilitate a donation of baseball equipment from Glenbard South High School to Morgan Park.

Big thanks to Marco Eufrasio & the folks at Glenbard South for filling my trunk and back seat with donated baseball equipment. I'm gonna find it a good home on the South Side & the Dominican Republic. Marco's generosity was above and beyond and because of him a lot of young kids are going to have a better baseball experience. All this came from me talking about it on the show and reinforces how much good we can do. And when he's not coaching baseball, he's teaching Special Ed. Just terrific! Mad props Marco!
