STATE FINAL BROADCASTS

STATE FINAL PROGRAMS
The IHSA State Final program is a tradition that dates back to the early 1900’s. The IHSA’s print partners at PIP Printing are keeping that tradition alive by offering a print on demand opportunity for anyone looking for the traditionally printed version to be sent to them. Of course, you can always check out the online version of the program any time you’d like. View the programs and learn how to order the printed copy from PIP here.
THE FUTURE
You have accomplished so much in reaching this level of competition and odds are that you didn’t do it alone. Whether it be family, friends, coaches, advisors, teachers, teammates, or all of the above, support is critical in achievement. But don’t forget about officials and judges either. Their commitment to IHSA sports and activities are what make these IHSA state tournaments possible. You have been provided an integral high school experience because of all these people, so consider joining them to help provide that experience for the next generation of Illinois high school students. Not only are officiating and coaching/advising fulfilling ways to stay connected to the sports and activities you love, but they also provide camaraderie, community, and some extra cash.
Learn more about becoming an IHSA Official here or call the IHSA office (309-663-6377). We can walk through the initial registration process and then connect you with local officials associations to help get you games and mentorship. In order to coach, you will need a certification program or be an active educator in the state. Whenever you return to a high school venue, whether it be as an official, coach, fan, or parent, Do What’s Right and exhibit exemplary sportsmanship so you can be a role model for the next generation of fans in the stands.
If you are already officiating or plan to study to become a teacher, you may be eligible for a scholarship from the Illinois High School Activities Foundation. Learn more about the IHSAF Scholarship Program here.
