The 2021 IHSA Football State Championship games will air live on statewide television via Gray Media’s IHSA TV Network on Friday and Saturday November 26-27
The eight state title games will be contested at Huskie Stadium on the campus of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Fans on the go can also watch the games via their mobile devices on the NFHS Network at www.IHSA.tv.
“We are excited for the return of the IHSA Football State Championships and proud to have Gray Media bring the action to fans around the state,” said IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson. “Nothing beats the state championship experience, but those who cannot join us in-person at Destination DeKalb are going to enjoy a first-class broadcast experience.”

IHSA TV veterans Lee Hall (1A/2A/5A/6A) and Dave Bernhard (3A/4A/7A/8A) will handle the play-by-play duties for all eight contests. Hall will be joined by IHSFCA Hall of Famer Jack McInerney in the analyst role, while Bernhard will team with the radio voice of NIU football, Mark Lindo. WGEM (Quincy) Sports Director Tony Cornish will set the stage for each game as the show’s host. Once the games kickoff, Heart of Illinois ABC (Peoria) anchor Donnie Tillman will bring fans stories and updates from the Huskie Stadium sidelines.
