The Illinois High School Association and MaxPreps have released the 2023 Illinois high school football schedules for this fall.
The 2023 season culminates with the IHSA Football State Finals (November 24-25) returning to Hancock Stadium on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal. Hancock Stadium hosted the inaugural IHSA Football State Championship games in 1974 and continued to host the state title games in some capacity every year through 1998.
The nine-week regular-season will determine the 256 teams who qualify for the playoffs. The road to state begins here...
