Illinois High School Association (IHSA) partner, Planet Fitness, has announced that it will provide free access to its fitness clubs in Illinois to high school students throughout the summer of 2024.
The Planet Fitness Summer Pass ’24 provides free access to high school students ages 14 to 19 from June 1 to August 31, 2024.
“We appreciate Planet Fitness providing this wonderful opportunity to allow high school students in Illinois to maintain their health and well-being throughout the summer free of charge,” said IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson. “We recognize that for some students, especially in the summer, Planet Fitness may be a more viable option than training at a high school or other venue. The Summer Pass ’24 epitomizes Planet Fitness’ mission to promote physical and emotional health for young people in our state.”
Registration for the Planet Fitness Summer Pass ’24 program is available at any Planet Fitness club or online at PlanetFitness.com/SummerPass. Individuals under 18 years of age will need a parent or guardian to register.
Based in Rosemont, PLNTF Holdings operates 92 Planet Fitness locations with over 40 clubs in Illinois, making them the largest franchisee in the state. The Planet Fitness Summer Pass program annually provides fitness opportunities to more than three million teenagers.
