DNA Info Chicago found an amazing story, as Phoenix Military Academy Baseball Coach Craig Griffin carved a diamond into a vacant lot.
The field has affectionately been called “Half-Mowed Field” and played host to the Firebirds 12-6 win over Crane on April 18, 2017.
