Voting for seats on the IHSA Board of Directors and Legislative Commission closed at midnight on Thursday, October 1, and the results were tallied and certified Friday morning, October 2.

The IHSA and Country Financial are teaming up to recognize the rich tradition of high school girls volleyball in Illinois, as they proudly introduce the IHSA Girls Volleyball Vintage Games series presented by COUNTRY Financial. Through interactive fan polling, the series will look to recognize the best state championship matches in IHSA history from four different decades.
The IHSA Board of Directors announced that they have voted to expand the IHSA State Series in two fall sports, adding a second round of postseason play in boys & girls golf and boys & girls cross country.
The IHSA Board of Directors met virtually for their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, September 14, 2020, where the Board approved several updates to the IHSA Return To Activities guidelines.
