The 2015 IHSA Speech-Individual Events State Finals will be held on Friday and Saturday, February 20-21 at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria. The 2015 state meet marks the 75th annual edition of the state final and the sixthyear that the Peoria Civic Center has hosted the event.

Saturday's award performances will be streamed live on the NFHS Network via www.IHSA.tv with a subscription or Comcast/Xfinity authentication,

State champions will be crowned in 14 events over the course of the meet, including an overall team champion based upon points earned in each individual event. A top team will also be recognized in the Performance in the Round category, although that event does not earn points toward the overall team title.

The 2014 tournament saw Wheaton Warrenville South return to the top of team standings, as the school captured its ninth overall state championship and fifth under its current namesake (4 titles as Wheaton Central). The Tigers won their first title since 2002 after getting an individual state title in the Radio Speaking category from Brooke Sommerfeld. Runner-up Neuqua Valley won at least a share of a state title in three events (Extemporaneous Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, Original Oratory), while Hinsdale Central placed third on the strength of a state crown in Humorous Duet Acting. Oak Lawn Community placed fourth a year ago, while Glenbard West and Prospect tied for fifth.
