Winning Coach: Denise Lazzeroni-Kavanaugh
Sometimes it's just a will to win. I think it's great at the end everyone has so much confidence. I thought they did a nice job. That throws your defense off, when you're worried about their tipping and dumping. They are a very tough team. We were looking forward to a great match.
#27 Lindsey Filkins - It's more getting used to the atmosphere. Just get used to it, relax, and we finally got into our groove.
Losing Coach Julia Hudson:
We knew each other better than any other teams down here. They played a little bit better than us, so compliments to them. We didn't have many kills in that first game. We needed to pass better to get our offense going. The second game we came out slow and when we finally caught fire, we ran out of time. There were no easy points. On tipping: If you don't pass real well, there aren't many options.
