Manager's Comment: It was a pleasure working with such a respectful and competitive group of young men from these nine schools. Congratulations to Chatham Glenwood for qualifying all four entries and capturing the Springfield State Sectional title.
Good luck to Chatham's #1seed Kevin Zhang, singles champion; Sacred Heart-Griffin's #1 seed Pete Harvey and Grant Sarnowski, doubles champions; and the other qualifiers in the State Tournament next week.
Many thanks to the Springfield Park District for helping with the courts and for the 7-8 hour dry spell to get matches in on Friday.
