Cullen Walter (Aledo) -- "I really felt like we played a good first half and to be down 10-6 shows how tough Rockridge is. It wasn't demoralizing to play so well and still be down. Because I felt our defense was stuffing them pretty well except for the two big plays."
"They took it to us the first time (49-0 loss) and it is really something to come back and beat them. After the first game we went to a 6-5 from a 5-3 to stop their run and force them to pass."
"I think we were intimidated by Rockridge the first time. We fell behind and the wheels came off. This time we were more confident."
