WINNING COACH: Carrollton’s LORI BLADE
I thought the girls played hard. We got a little lethargic. What a great effort to only score one point in the third quarter and still win a semi-final game. We wanted to pound it down on the inside. That’s what we did in the first half. They kind of shut it down in the second half.
Kristn Boss (#35) I had confidence the whole time. I always do.
Liz DeShasier (#42) In the third quarter we scored a whole one point. It was frustrating. We knew we could pull through.
LOSING COACH: Mendota’s MIKE KILMARTIN
We played extremely hard. I was really proud of the girls. We had 12 turnovers at half (time). That is pretty uncharacteristic of us. We lost the game in the first half. That was obvious.
Jamie Kromm (#11) (On her knee) It’s sore. It shifted on me when I cut to get the rebound. That was a major shift compared to the others. I was playing this whole tournament with no ACL.
