``We fought hard. I think the second half we did a good job because the first half you could see I was not happy with the way we played defense. There was too much reaching, not a lot of boxing out, and just the offensive player's beat us. The second half we did a good job playing defense. Reasons we did an excellent job coming out scouting us. We could tell that we got a one two press they knew that our points to come out and attack it."
"Frank (Clair) and Alan (Downing) are three year starters. The first half Alan (Downing) was not in the rhythm at all. Frank (Clair) today I believe he was in the rhythm throughout the whole game. Again the best thing about our team we are able to attack ten people. Our players know how to perform when another player is not able. Alan (Downing) as you could see the second half, he took it up a notch. The best thing about our team is not a one or two man team, it is a whole team and we did a good job with it."
"At half time Tracy (Robinson) and Alan (Downing) could tell you I was upset with the way we played defense. We basically played a man to man defense. I threatened the kids that if you don't play 'D' I'm going to take you out. So you know, when a kids hears that he wants to get into the game."
"I think one of the big things about our team is match up problems. Alan (Downing) started attacking, Tracy (Robinson), Frank (Clair), and Alan (Downing) is a guard, and Alan (Downing) is a football player a great athlete. He might get a mismatch down low and finish it down low. Alan (Downing) and Keelan (Donald) is probably one of our best post up players and both guards."

``We played pretty well in the first half and hung I there until right before halftime. We gave them a chance to score and they did. We didn't rebound like I felt we could but again they are so athletic and the two guards are really very physical kids.''
``The third quarter was really a disaster. We didn't take care of the ball early and went 0-9 in the period and only scored two points. We wanted to get a body on them but they have so much athleticism. We made it a pretty valiant effort but we couldn't our shots to fall and they made just enough free throws to keep it out of reach.''
``We had good looks every time down the floor in the first half and we even talked about getting the ball into the post in the second half. They pushed their defense of out and we couldn't get any good angles to push the ball into the middle. We had a hard time doing anything; they were forcing us out so far.''
``The pace of the game was what we wanted it to be. We just couldn't afford to get behind. When we did get behind it was too big a hole to climb out of and their athleticism was a big factor. We made a nice run to get it back to 5 or 6 but we couldn't sustain it.''
