``That wasn't a work of art but the thing is we survived. I think when you play not your best basketball and you find a way to dig down inside and make plays to pull it out at the end that bodes well for our team. You didn't see our best basketball and a lot of that was due to U-High. I knew the key to that game was going to how we handled their 1-2-2 zone. Sometimes they extend it and other times they pull it in tight around the basket.''
``They surrounded Andre (Brown) and made it tough to get the ball inside. Basically tonight we survived and I'm really proud of the kids for the way they kept battling even when U-High took the lead.''
(On playing Hall) ``We haven't a whole on them. We've seen a little bit on tape and then here tonight. They have a great player in Jeppson but he's not alone out there. They have big strong, physical kids who will pose a different type problem than we saw tonight with U-High.''

``I thought we did a real good job of fighting back in he fourth quarter and giving ourselves a chance to win the game. We just didn't execute very well down the stretch on our final possession (in regulation).''

``We didn't handle the ball real well in the second half and defensively we didn't do a very good job of rotating back and gave up some easy baskets.''
