Non-School Competition/Instruction Action Team Public Meetings Announced

The Non-School Competition/Instruction Action Team has recommended that a series of informational meetings be conducted throughout the state at which staff and Team members can explain the proposed changes to IHSA member schools and to gather additional input for the Action Team's consideration. Dates and times for the meetings are listed below.

We feel it is critical that schools develop a solid understanding of the recommendations through participation in the statewide meetings that have been arranged between April 1 and April 21. IHSA staff and Team members will be in attendance at each meeting to explain the recommendations and gather feedback. We urge you to discuss these proposed changes (which were sent to you earlier) with the appropriate people within your school community. The Action Team will reconvene following the statewide meetings to finalize its recommendations.

Feel free to bring any members of your staff to these meetings. We want these meetings to be an opportunity for anyone to share ideas and/or suggestions in a forum where they can be discussed.
