Welcome to the IHSA Web Site!

On behalf of the adminstration and staff of the Illinois High School Association, I'd like to welcome you to the official debut of the IHSA's World Wide Web site.

We are very excited about the possibilities of this new technology. It has frequently been a struggle to communicate in a timely manner with our 744 member schools and hundreds of media outlets. Now, for the first time, we feel that we can serve our entire constituency — schools, media, parents, and fans — and do it in absolutely the fastest possible time frame.

We invite you to visit the many different sections of our site and browse through the information we have on-line. Please don't hesistate to offer us suggestions on how we can improve this service. Like most organizations on the Web, we're just getting started at this. It'll be a long time before we can call ourselves experts. But we'd love to hear your comments, and you can send them to ihsa@ihsa.org.

And while you're here, be sure to check out the links to IHSA member schools. As of this writing, over 130 Illinois high schools have home pages on the Web, and the number is growing weekly. The combined effort of hundreds, if not thousands, of hard-working students is making the Web the place to be in 1996. Thanks for joining us!
