The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) will unveil its new streaming website, www.IHSA.TV, on Wednesday, November 11, and launch the site with broadcasts of the final three IHSA state final events of the fall season. All content on IHSA.TV will be free of charge for viewers.
IHSA.TV will debut with a live video webcast of every match during the 2009 IHSA Girls Volleyball State Finals from Redbird Arena in Normal on Friday and Saturday, November 13-14.
On Saturday, November 21, IHSA.TV will carry the finals of the 2009 IHSA Girls Swimming & Diving State Finals from New Trier High School in Winnetka.
The television broadcast of the IHSA's eight state football championship games at Memorial Stadium in Champaign will also be carried live on IHSA.TV on Friday and Saturday, November 27-28.
Viewers can access the website directly at www.IHSA.TV or follow the Live Video links above the State Final Scoreboard on the upper righthand page of each of the respective (girls volleyball, girls swimming & diving, football) homepages on the IHSA website.
Each of the webcasts will feature full video and audio and will be available live at www.IHSA.TV or on-demand after the conclusion of the event.
The website will also feature classic content, including a variety of past IHSA football, volleyball and basketball state finals available on-demand at no cost to viewers.
DVD copies of all three fall events will also be available online for purchase at www.PrepFilms.com.
