“Lincoln-Way East has a tremendous facility and we are confident that they will continue to meet the high expectations set by their predecessors,” said IHSA Assistant Executive Director Kurt Gibson. “The athletic department at the school is a professional group and has shown the ability to host an event of this caliber under the leadership of Athletic Director David Brost.”

The state final will be the first-ever hosted at the school, which opened in 2001. Frankfort (Lincoln-Way East) takes the torch from Barrington (H.S.), who has hosted the event since 2003.
