The IHSA Internet Radio Network, which began its sixth year of IHSA championship broadcasts with live coverage of girls volleyball from Redbird Arena, continues this weekend and next with live broadcasts of the IHSA girls swimming and diving finals and the IHSA football finals.
Coverage of the swimming finals will begin Saturday afternoon, November 22, at 12:45 pm, and will continue through to the final events around 4:30 pm, with a break in the broadcast during the diving competition. It will be the fourth year of live audio from the swimming finals, which this year will be held at Evanston High School.
Fall sports coverage concludes for 2008 with broadcast of all eight football championship games live from Memorial Stadium in Champaign Thanksgiving weekend, November 28 and 29, beginning at 9:50 am with the broadcast of the Class 1A championship.
