The Hypercast Network and HCN Broadcasting have partnered to create high-quality live streaming video for IHSA State Tournaments, and high school students will be on both sides of the camera.
Students with an interest in broadcasting will have the opportunity to work alongside HCN professionals on the latest digital video equipment, while filming their peers competing at the State Championships.
“We're so excited about this relationship,” said Gregory Busse of Hypercast Network, “it's a winning scenario for everyone involved.”
The championship broadcasts kick off with the Girls Class A Soccer Championship, broadcast live from North Central College Saturday, May 24 at 7:00 pm. The video will be available for free on the IHSA homepage (www.ihsa.org) as well as on The Hypercast Network (www.hypercast.net.) After the game, the footage will be archived and available for free viewing any time.
Championship broadcasts continue the next two weeks from Joliet's Silver Cross Stadium. The Boys Baseball Finals will be streaming live all day Saturday, May 31, and Saturday, June 7 beginning at 10:00 am.
