Hales Franciscan High School Suspended From IHSA Membership

The Illinois High School Association announced today that Hales Franciscan High School has had its membership suspended for failing to comply with Article 1.250 of the IHSA Constitution. Hales Franciscan High School has not been “Recognized” by the Illinois State Board of Education since June of 2003. Such recognition is explicitly required as a condition of membership by Article 1.250 of the IHSA Constitution.

In accordance with IHSA By-law 2.050, IHSA member schools are prohibited from competing against the school in any interscholastic contest.
