Board Appoints Bradley Treasurer

BLOOMINGTON - Gregory Bradley, principal at Mt. Zion, has been appointed treasurer of the Illinois High School Association. Bradley joined the Board for the first time at its regular September meeting Monday (Sept. 11) in the IHSA Office.

The appointment as treasurer is for a three-year term. Bradley succeeds Collinsville principal Ron Ganschinietz as treasurer. Ganschinietz retired as principal this summer, giving up the treasurer's position with the retirement. Bradley previously was a member of the IHSA Board of Directors from 1993-97, serving as secretary of the Board during the 1996-97 school term.

Bradley is only the fifth appointed treasurer in IHSA history. Lynn Gibbs of Rantoul served from 1964-70, Raymond E. Collier of Aurora (East) from 1971-84, H. Fred Curtis of Belleville (East) from 1984-94, and Ganschinietz of Collinsville from 1994-2000.

At its meeting Monday the Board passed a resolution of commendation and appreciation for the performance of Ganschinietz as treasurer.

Other Action

The Board appointed tellers for the upcoming Board and Legislative Commission elections and the annual amendment process.

Eligibility Rulings
