Kendrick Green helped lead Peoria High School to its first-ever IHSA Football State Championship in the fall of 2016, as the Lions outlasted Vernon Hills 62-48 in the Class 5A title game. As Green prepares to continue his football career at the University of Illinois, his impact on his high school's athletic programs will be felt not only on the gridiron, but also on the wrestling mat and baseball diamond. Not only is Green a three-sport athlete, he is a four-year varsity letterwinner in all three sports who qualified for state as a wrestler and will graduate with 12 total letters.
