Following a classic Big Northern West Conference football contest that saw Byron prevail at home over Stillman Valley 41-40 on September 25, 2015, the teams and fan bases of both schools joined together on the field for a special tribute
(above).
After distributing glow sticks to assembled fans, the lights were turned out in a symbolic tribute
(below) to Stillman Valley cheerleader Emily Fleming and the parent of a Byron student-athlete, Andy Conderman, who both lost their lives in a car accident on September 4.
