Vermillion County legend Fowler Connell was honored with his IHSA Distinguished Media Service Award on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Danville High School.

Fowler’s presentation occurred at halftime of the Vikings varsity contest, where Danville Athletic Director Mark Bacys presented him his award before Fowler, 95 years young, briefly addressed the crowd and posed for pictures with friends, co-workers and well-wishers.
