2008-09 IHSA LICENSED VENDORS
Attention Member Schools:
At this time, the vendors listed below are the only vendors that have been approved for the 2007-08 school term. Member schools are required to use only the vendors from this list. If a vendor is not on this list, the vendor is not to be used.
If you have been contacted by a company to produce programs or wearing apparel for your school that does not appear on this list, please refer them to Stacey Lambert at the IHSA office. She will help them complete the process to become an IHSA Licensed Vendor.
Attention Prospective Vendors:
THE IHSA IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING LICENSED VENDOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2008-09 SCHOOL TERM. PLEASE SEND THE REQUESTED INFORMATION TO STACEY LAMBERT NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1, 2008 TO BE CONSIDERED.
Vendors must be licensed by the IHSA if they wish to utilize any IHSA marks and/or logos. Member schools must use IHSA licensed vendors to produce any publications and/or merchandise for IHSA State Series Events. The IHSA limits the number of licensed vendors in the state, therefore giving those granted licenses less competition.
IHSA Licensed Vendors pay an annual licensing fee of $500. In conjunction, a five-percent royalty of the gross advertising sales in publications and an eight-percent royalty of the gross revenue in merchandise are paid to the IHSA.
Licensed print and/or merchandise vendors will not be able to produce State Final products or merchandise. Minerva Promotions is the exclusive IHSA State Final merchandise provider.
All (merchandise) products will need to bear an “Officially Licensed IHSA Product” label/tag. This will serve as an identifier for consumers that the product is being sold by a vendor authorized by the IHSA. The IHSA will provide the labels/tags to all licensed vendors (you are not responsible for producing or ordering them).
In order to help determine licenses, the IHSA is requiring additional information from each prospective vendor. Please provide us with the following information:
- A list of school(s) you have worked with in the past
- Product Samples
- Business References
- A list of items you intend to produce bearing IHSA marks
- Sales Reports for the 2007-08 school year
- Completed Application (click here for application)
