"The game basically played out pretty much like we thought it would. Casey was a very tough
opponent and they did pretty much what expected to see. They are very athletic in moving us
around like they did."
"In the second half we pretty much kept the ball away from them. We were able to shoot the
gaps and make their backs stutter a little bit. The big things and it's something we have
preached all year it we needed to finish the game."
Losing coach – Keith Sinclair, Casey (Casey-Westfield)
"In the first half I thought we played real well. Colin (Carver) had some good returns for us
and gave us great field position in several cases. And we were able to continue to score."
"I think in the second half we found a lot of open areas in their pass defense but we weren't
able to utilize those opening s. I felt their defense did a great job of stopping our running game."
"I won't use an excuse of losing Ajaye (Meeks) in the first series because it's not fair.
Morrison beat us and they deserve the credit. We over came a lot of obstacles in losing a lot
of our starters for periods for one to six weeks. We lost some great football players
permanently. For these kids to make it to the state finals and have a chance to win like they
did is a great accomplishment for them and displays the dedication they gave us this season."
