Christian) “Our effort tonight was outstanding. This game was a little bit of a microcosm of what sort of has been our season. We had some peaks and valleys offensively, we do make our share of mistakes but we always fight, we always scratch and claw and compete.” “That’s a pretty strong Pittsfield team. It was two really good teams going at it and I really didn’t think our guys could do this kind of defensive job on them. That was incredible.” Losing coach – Brad Tomhave, Pittsfield “Again another battle; two teams fighting out both offensively and defensively. It was a defensive basketball game and very physical. Our kids stuck right in there and they gave us another shot to pull out another one in a late game situation. It just didn’t happen again tonight (Saturday) but I can’t be any more proud of these kids than I am right now.’’ “They hung in there and battled to the end. They played the game the right way; they don’t talk, they just go out and play. They never get too up; they never get too down. It’s sue been a pleasure of mine to have been around these guys the last four years. I told them in the locker room they will never be replaced and they sure have given us a lot of good memories to talk about.” Senior forward Cory Roseberry – “Once you seen some of the thing this team has been able to do throughout the season that no game feels out of reach until the final buzzer. I think the whole team felt like we could win. It was just a matter of time before we could pull close but we ran out of time.” Senior guard Brad Hamilton on picking up his fourth foul – “It was tough sitting out, seeing your team out there. But there isn’t anything I could about it. Coach didn’t want to me pick up my fifth foul so I had to sit awhile. I knew I would get the chance to go back in so I just had to wait it out.”
