The NFHS as well as the IHSA have been receiving a number of questions regarding the legalities of both the "Neck Kip" and the "Suicide Kip". The tricks are ruled as followed. Click on the term to see a video of each skill being demonstrated. (Videos are in Windows Media format.)
- "Neck Kip"= Legal
- "Suicide Kip"= Illegal- NFHS Rule 2-Section 11- Article 3 (2-11-3) pg. 29 . . . A handspring/flip over to any drop is illegal.
